Performance & Recreational Performances

Dance Impressions offers two shows each year for all of our students: a Holiday Extravaganza in early December and a Spring Showcase or Recital in early to mid May. Our shows are fast paced, family friendly, and appropriate for all ages. We also provide other professional performance opportunities throughout the year. Holiday Extravaganza
- This is a fully staged show with dancing, acting, and singing. This year's performance will be held at the Elk River High School Little Theater December 8th and 9th at 7:00 pm. Please contact the studio office for tickets and information.
Moscow Ballet Great Russian Nutcracker
- Dance Impressions students consistently place in the premier roles of the Mosocow Ballet Great Russian Nutcracker. They have attained premium roles as Party Guests, Variations, and Butterlies who dance en Pointe. We believe professional level experience is a valuable education tool and we are honored to be a part of this highly acclaimed international organization. Spring Showcase (Recital)
- Our Spring Showcase highlights the work our students have been doing throughout the year. It includes performance company feature dances, generally two dances from each of our recreational classes, and our acting classes in a variety of acting and singing performance pieces. This show is significantly different and much bigger than our holiday show, so please contact the studio office for more information. You won't want to miss it.
Competition Shows
- Each year our performance company students will compete at various competition shows. Our students typically place in the top award categories and win a variety of scholarships. Our competition shows have included Spotlight, Hall of Fame, ADA, Showbiz, Masquerade, Starquest, Star Systems, and IDC just to name a few. Please contact our studio office for details.

Performance Company Explores Self Choreography! Sign Up For Dance Today

Our Las Vegas Performance Company is learning self-choreography techniques. The class is divided into groups and they must use techniques they have learned and their own creativity to choreograph movements to specific themes. This technique is used in our acting and dance classes to teach creativity, communication, self-sufficiency and art form application. New Acting Classes Being Added

We are adding new acting classes to meet the demand. We are opening up classes earlier in the day and later in the afternoon/early evening. We will have new options for young children in the late morning or earlier afternoon. We are also adding options for kids who need more time after school to get to class, so we'll be starting some classes later in the afternoon or earlier evening.
