Professional opportunities like this are one more advantage of the Dance Impressions training approach. Email us for more info.

DI Staff Brings Back New Techniques From NY Teacher Training
Dance Impressions' teachers trained in New York City this summer at Dance Teacher Summit NYC. This was an amazing opportunity to bring new ideas, techniques and choreography back to our students from master teachers like Gil Stromming, Doug Caldwell, Mark Meismer, Mandy Moore, Mike Minery, Sheila Barker and Finis Jhung. Classes include cutting edge choreography, instructional innovation, new dance techniques, and studio innovations.

Dance Impressions' Students Study With Michelle Lucci
Dance Impressions' students, Emily Donlon, Danialle Steman, McKenzie Shelton, Kyra Peterson and Eliza Peterson studied with famed former Prima Ballerina Michelle Lucci during a workshop at the Hopkins Dance Center. Whether performing the classics or contemporary works, Michelle Lucci's versatile dancing and exceptional technique have earned her renown as one of the finest ballerinas in the world. As gentle as she is demanding, she brings the experience of years of dancing with the American Ballet Theater, the Royal Winnipeg Ballet, Pennsylvania Ballet, and the Milwaukee Ballet. Most recently, Ms. Lucci was the ballet mistress with Andrew Lloyd Weber's "Phantom of the Opera" touring company. Students in these classes then had the option of auditioning for the Hopkins Youth Ballet. It was an honor and a privilege for our students to take classes from such an esteemed teacher.
