Nicole McDonald, a Dance Impressions recent graduate, has just finished shooting an MTV music video in Los Angeles for up and coming artist B.O.B., a protoge of Outkast. This video is a unique re-mix filmed for Reebok and will be shown on either MTV or MTV2 in the near future.  Additionally, Ms. McDonald was engaged by Christian Perry as his apprentice. Mr. Perry is one of the leading dancers for "Dancing With The Stars." He has also appeared in film and television in such works as "Mona Lisa Smiles" and "Everybody Loves Raymond." Ms. McDonald was an award winning dancer for Dance Impressions in group, small groups and solos. She is also working on several other new projects, so stay tuned. Dance Impressions is pleased to announce that a number of our staff and students will be traveling to New York over a period of two weeks this summer for master class training. This is an amazing opportunity to bring new ideas, techniques and choreography back to our students from master teachers. Our teachers and students will be taking classes and workshops from Break The Floor Productions and the Broadway Dance Center.  Teachers will include Sheila Barker, Gil Stroming, Mandy Moore, Doug Caldwell, Dee Casbury and many more. Classes will include cutting edge choreography, instructional innovation, new dance techniques, one on one lessons with master teachers, and so much more. Our goal is to bring the best instruction we can from around the world back into the classroom for each and every student.

Dance Impressions has implemented a new email system. You can now email your teacher directly with any questions you may have. We are hoping this will help communication efficacy for our clients and students while also minimizing classroom interruptions. When emailing your teacher, please leave as much information as possible including name, student's name, class, phone, cell, email, address and your detailed question. It is our goal to respond to inquiries every few days. All teacher and studio emails are listed on the contacts page. Misty Gilman, a recent Dance Impressions graduate has been hired as an assitant dance teacher/choreographer to Andrea Paige Wilson. Ms. Gilman is a recent graduate of Dance Impressions. She was a member of Dance Impressions award winning elite large and small groups as well as a soloist and scholarship winner. Andrea Paige Wilson is a dancer, choreographer and actress in Los Angeles with numerous credits including movies, television, dance shows, commercials, stage productions, and musical productions.

Dance Impressions is introducing our new Elite level training PERFORMANCE PROGRAM A starting fall of 2009. This program, the only one of its kind in the area, offers triple threat dance education at the highest level. Students wishing to participate in this program must demonstrate desire, technical ability, and meet our minimum age requirements. These students will train on a more rigorous schedule focusing on ballet and pointe dance training combined with modern and broadway triple threat training.  These students will do less competitive dance and more workshop training. These students will get the opportunity to do their own mini-Showcase(s) in addition to our two other shows. If you aspire to be the best of the best, now is your chance.
