Dance Impressions is a premier and unique dance organization that is specifically designed to educate the dance performer in all avenues. We know that in today's world the most successful dancers have a triple threat of solid technical training in dance, acting, and music. We believe that for the dancer the strongest foundation begins with proper ballet technique. Our specialized program is based on the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabus with Vaganova and American influences. We provide enhanced training in Pointe, jazz, lyrical, tap, contemporary, modern, ballet fusion and musical theater.
We add to that incredible dance training with creative acting which includes such elements as character development, musical theater, vocal training, script reading, monologue reading, improvisation, camera work, comedy work, reducing stage fright and so much more. Finally, dancers must live a healthy lifestyle, so our expanded program also offers education in injury prevention, Pilates/stretch, Yoga, stage makeup, costume styling, and nutrition.
Dance Impressions offers a variety of classes from the beginner to the professional performer with age ranges from two years old to adult. We have two educational tracks:
We also have number of open technique classes for all to attend. Our dance and fitness teachers are certified and/or in continuing education certification programs. Many of our staff have long resumes, experience and degrees in music, acting, psychology, art etc.
Finally, in order to become a whole dancer, one must learn many life lessons such as respect, hard work, and honesty. These are a few of the principles that guide our program.
